<title>Performance of the Dye-sensitized Solid-state Photovoltaic Solar Cell Depending on the Cluster Size of Tio2 Electrode</title>
<link>http://repo.lib.sab.ac.lk:8080/xmlui/handle/susl/2596</link>
<description>Performance of the Dye-sensitized Solid-state Photovoltaic Solar Cell Depending on the Cluster Size of Tio2 Electrode
Aponsu, G. M. L. P.
A fully dye-sensitized solid-state photovoltaic nanoporous n-Ti02/dye/p-Cul was&#13;
constructed by depositing p-Cul onto a nano-porous film of n-Ti02 coated with dye. Tannin&#13;
and cyanidin were used as the dyes coated on the TiO2 electrode. The photovbltage and&#13;
the photocurrent of the cell mainly depended on the cluster size of the T 1O2 film. And,the&#13;
Tí0 2 electrode with two layers of different particle sizes also affected on the photovoltage .&#13;
and photocurrent of this cell.

<title>Knowledge Management in Telework Context</title>
<link>http://repo.lib.sab.ac.lk:8080/xmlui/handle/susl/2595</link>
<description>Knowledge Management in Telework Context
Munasinghe, Lalith; Wijayanayake, Janaka
In general, teleworkers can be profiled as knowledge workers, and therefore, the&#13;
performance of a telework arrangement depends largely on the knowledge of the workers&#13;
However, since telework distances workers from their organisation and co-workers. there&#13;
can be some problems in organisational memory and knowledge management The&#13;
exchange of knowledge, especially tacit knowledge, requires a great deal of face-to-face&#13;
contacts, such as meetings, training sessions, and apprenticeships. In a telework&#13;
environment, this social interaction and vital face-to-face commumcation is limited and&#13;
transfer of individual tacit knowledge may not take place effectively among members withm&#13;
the organisation. In this paper, the problems of knowledge management in telework is&#13;
discussed and extensive use of communication media and group building among&#13;
teleworkers through informal, communication using communication media to minimise those problems are proposed.

<title>A Low-cost Heterogeneous Computer Network</title>
<link>http://repo.lib.sab.ac.lk:8080/xmlui/handle/susl/2594</link>
<description>A Low-cost Heterogeneous Computer Network
Rathnayake, R.M.N.B.; Meegama, R.G.N.
A low-cost Computer network where users can have access to facitities under two operating&#13;
Systems simultaneously is proposed. The multi-user network is implemented with the&#13;
available resources in the laboratories, the only running cost being telephone charges for&#13;
the dial-up connection with LEARN for e-mail Services. Two servers, one under Windows&#13;
NT and the other, Linux operating system, host the network. The former is used as the&#13;
primary domain of the students and also for file storage and web page hosting while the&#13;
latter is mainly used for e-mail facilities to all the staff members in the university.

<title>Seasonality and Periodicity of Trends in Rainfall and Temperature in Sri Lanka</title>
<link>http://repo.lib.sab.ac.lk:8080/xmlui/handle/susl/2593</link>
<description>Seasonality and Periodicity of Trends in Rainfall and Temperature in Sri Lanka
Jayasundara, J.M.S.B.; Ratnasekara, T.A.D.N.S.
Climatic changes are an important factor especially in view of current global warming&#13;
scenarios. Study of climatic changes in Sri Lanka is reievant, particularly, as any change in&#13;
the seasonality of rainfall can affect the country's agricuitural productivity. Henee, the&#13;
present study attempts to separately ascertain whether there have been changes in&#13;
seasonal rainfall and temperature in the ‘dry’ and ‘wet’ zones during the 1870-1999 period.&#13;
As there are no cyclic changes or linear trends observed for the whole study period, the&#13;
period was divided into four sub-periods: 1870-1909,1910-1939, 1940-1969 and 1970-&#13;
1999. Simple regression coefficients were calculated for those sub-periods. Rainfall and&#13;
temperature were calculated by spatial averaging. Measurement errors and fluctuations&#13;
were reduced by averaging the data from different locations. As monthly data do not&#13;
necessarily relate to seasonality, only typical months for each of the four seasons were&#13;
selected and the data were averaged for the respective seasons.&#13;
The analyses reveal the following trends: a decrease of rainfall of both monsoon seasons&#13;
and an increase of rainfall of the two inter-monsoon seasons when whole study period is&#13;
considered. As for temperature, there has been a slight increase all over the island (with&#13;
the exception of a slight decrease in the dry zone in the 1910-1939 period ). The trends&#13;
were also calculated for four periods.
