dc.description.abstract The study focused on the moderating role of personal initiative in projecting employees' creativity through transformational leadership in five-star hotels in Sri Lanka. The data was collected from a sample of 312 employees and their immediate supervisors were collected and analyzed. The outcomes reveal that the transformational leadership style enhances creativity among their followers. Besides, a significant moderating role of the personal initiative was found in the association between transformational leadership and employee creativity. The outcomes highlighted the influence of employees' creativity working under transformational leaders when they perceive high personal initiative. en_US
