dc.description.abstract Innovations are occurring and alternative solutions to the existing problems are emerging in all sectors. Electric cars, organic farming, renewable energy, and e-learning are good examples. Innovations and alternatives are emerging not only in industrialized countries but also in developing countries like Sri Lanka. Meeting sustainable development goals will require action on several fronts, including harnessing and maximizing the potential of technological innovation. Innovations can contribute not only to long-term economic growth but also help address pressing social and environmental concerns. Latest research findings in the areas of Biotechnology, Agriculture, Information and Communication Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Nanotechnology are included in this section. en_US
