In answering to the problems that affect to the farmers,tissue culture plays an important role. By employing this technique., we can Obtain a higher amount of virus free and new varieties of micro tubers toy spending a low capital. The farmers are really availed by this method. Therefore, it Is obvious that promoting this tissue culture technique vastly in Sri Lanka is needed for the development of the crop as well as the beneficence of the farmer.
