Abstract:
An automated system with good coordination for Goods Importing and Selling is developed in order to computerize the operations of the goods importing and selling service of the Eastern Connection company.In the existing system, like three systems, two of these three systems
are computer-based systems, which are Product Ordering and Goods Receiving system and Sales system. These two systems doing there operations individually. The coordination between these two systems is done by other system, which is Manual Checking system, all the operations are manually. The account part, like paying, receiving,invoicing and etc, is also doing this manual system.
The proposed system covers all importing, selling and relevant account activities and functions. The objectives of this automation is to establish good coordination between two systems and enhance its service by using information technology. The new system will develop under the following areas of operations.
• Goods ordering.
• Goods receiving.
• Paying to the suppliers.
• Receives orders from customers.
• Invoicing.
• Receives payments.
• Goods delivering.
• Relevant stock operations.
• Commissioning to the salespersons.
• Preparing summarizing reports and statistical reports.
Major aspects of the new system:
• Good coordination between goods importing and selling.
• Delivery checking system.
• Inventory control system.
• Invoice input output interfaces.
• Relational database for data entering, modifying, deleting and editing.
• Query facilities of finding details.
• Menus, data entry forms, queries and reports are developed using Microsoft Access and Visual Basic.
• System charts developed by using Rational Rose and Easy Case tools.
