dc.description.abstract The performance of badminton players relies on various physical attributes, including dynamic balance, agility, and eye-hand coordination. Service accuracy of badminton players is a key factor that reflects their sport performance. This study aimed to investigate the association between service-accuracy and dynamic balance, agility, eye-hand coordination, among badminton players. This crosssectional study was conducted with 105 (male=81, female=24) badminton players of aged between 18 – 30 (mean±SD: 23.43±2.17) years, from two badminton associations in Matara. Y-balance test, agility t-test, alternate hand-wall toss test and badminton serve-accuracy test were used to measure participants' dynamic balance, agility, eye-hand coordination, and service-accuracy respectively. Serveaccuracy was measured for short serve and long serve separately. Pearson’s correlation and one-way ANOVA tests were applied for statistical testing, using SPSS version 25 software. A significant positive correlation was identified between long serve and dynamic balance of both right (R) and left (L) legs (R:L / p=0.000, r=+0.398: p=0.000, r=+0.395). This positive relationship was again observed between short serve and dynamic balance of both legs (R:L/ p=0.005, r=+0.271: p=0.002, r=+0.298). Agility was found to have a significant association with both short serves (p=0.018) and long serves (p=0.000). Moreover, it was observed that eye-hand coordination also significantly related to both short serves (p=0.039) and long serves (p=0.027) of service-accuracy. This study identified that dynamic balance, agility, and eye-hand coordination are crucial factors that significantly related to the service-accuracy of badminton players. Therefore, enhancing these factors during the training session can bring forth a heightened sport performance of badminton players. en_US
