Abstract:
Political participation is the direct or indirect involvement of the people as
stakeholders in making decisions about policies, plans, or programs in a state.
The youth community can be identified as an attractive group for political
participation. Furthermore, studying their political behaviour will be critical as
they are the future of the State. The purpose of this study is to assess the nature
of youth political participation in the current people's struggle. The study was
conducted in relation to the national people's power and the Frontline socialist
party to observe whether the youth political participation during the struggle has
changed in the post-struggle period. As the youth's political participation became
a driving force during the struggle, will it be maintained in the same way after
the struggle? Was used as the research problem of the research. Proposed
sampling was used to collect primary data, and data were collected through
questionnaires and interviews. Newspaper articles, electronic data, research
articles, and research books were used as secondary data. In data analysis,
qualitative research methodology was used. Here, qualitative data was analyzed
under the Method of thematic and contextual analysis and quantitative data was
analyzed under the detailed statistical analysis method. This research concluded
that the youth's political participation during the struggle has changed clearly
after the struggle and that political factors have influenced the youth's political
participation during the struggle and changed after the struggle.
