dc.description.abstract Against the backdrop of the “dual circulation" new development pattern and the 68th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Sri Lanka, the tourism economic cooperation between the two countries is faced with both opportunities and challenges. Based on the theory of economic cycle, this paper analyzes the current situation of tourism economic cooperation between the two sides. It is found that although there are three supporting foundations of resources, policies and markets—China has a large source of tourists and a mature industrial chain, Sri Lanka has scarce tourism resources, and policies such as mutual visa exemption between the two countries have been continuously improved with a sound recovery trend of the tourism market — there are still problems such as unbalanced market flow, weak industrial coordination, insufficient service adaptation and delayed policy implementation. In response to these problems, the paper puts forward a four - pronged countermeasure system: “constructing a two - way balanced and accurately adapted tourist source and consumption system, creating a cooperation model featuring industrial chain coordination and business form integration, establishing a service guarantee system with interconnected standards, safety and convenience, and improving a support system for facilitating the implementation and coordination of mechanisms". The purpose is to promote the tourism economic cooperation between China and Sri Lanka from superficial connection to in - depth integration, achieve mutual benefit and win - win results, provide reference for tourism cooperation among developing countries around the world, and further enrich the regional application dimension of the international tourism cooperation theory. en_US
