dc.description.abstract The perception of teachers towards the implementation of National Lingua Franca Education should be considered an important parameter in evaluating the effectiveness of such education. Through in-depth surveys of primary and secondary school teachers in ethnic areas of Guizhou, the current state of implementation of National Lingua Franca Education in the region has been revealed. The study found that certain achievements have been made in the ethnic areas of Guizhou in the field of National Lingua Franca Education, and teachers generally recognise its importance. However, there are significant differences in the perceptions of teachers from different types of schools, educational stages, academic qualifications, genders, ages, ethnicities, and levels of Mandarin proficiency regarding the methods, means, and carriers of educational implementation. It is suggested that the government should intensify the efforts of integrating schools for ethnic minorities and Han Chinese, improve the academic qualifications and Mandarin proficiency of teachers, encourage teachers to use educational technology to improve teaching methods and means, enrich educational carriers, and carry out more effective experiential and dialogic educational activities to promote the quality and efficiency of education. en_US
