Abstract

Sri Lanka’s universities and research institutes have the talent and public mission to deliver meaningful impact. Yet many promising AI studies stall between “accepted paper” and “adopted practice.” This plenary presents a practical, problem-first pathway respectful of academic rigour and public-interest ethics to help researchers translate AI into tangible outcomes for people, institutions, and the economy.
